Heard of Forza Horizon? Yeah, neither have I. But yesterday a curious trailer surfaced on YouTube and iscreating a ripple in the gaming world.
The video, titled “Forza Horizon Tone Trailer,” features some live-action scenes of high-end cars speeding across the horizon (the Forza Horizon) and crowds cheering. Doesn’t sound like much of anything, right?
But the video flashes the Playground Games logo at the beginning, a studio that was rumored to be developing Forza World.
Another hint that this might be for real is a line from development director of Playground Games Gavin Raeburn’s LinkedIn profile, which says he is currently “working on an unannounced AAA title for a major publisher.”
Though the possibility of Forza Horizon might seem farfetched, maybe we’ll know for sure by Fall 2012, the game’s projected release date.
