Sega has announced a new game for the XBLA, PSN, and PC. Interestingly named Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, it appears to be a combination of hellish humor, shoot-em-up violence, and Saturday morning cartoons.

In development by Arkedo Studio, an independent game company based out of France, the title started development in January 2011 and was teased by Sega late last year. The developers have been keeping a blog on their progress that includes some assets from the game. The game’s protagonist is a skeletal rabbit named Ash who lives in Hell. All is well in Hell until Ash’s archnemesis, the Fat Rabbit, posts racy photos of Ash on the Hellternet, and Ash seeks revenge.

The divine union between Arkedo and SEGA results in the devilishly good product we can all sinfully be excited about. Hell Yeah!
