RedLynx has announced that it is bringing MotoHeroz, the 2011 WiiWare hit, to iOS this week. MotoHeroz takes the side-scrolling, motor-racing game play of Trials and adds a cartoon art style.
Ubisoft is taking the helm in publishing the mobile re-imagining of MotoHeroz.
MotoHeroz is a colorful side-on racing game in which you take to the wheel of several different buggies, bikes and scooters.
Having played the game on Nintendo’s now failing WiiWare platform, I believe iOS is a perfect fit for the game. It includes both touchand tilt controls and really takes advantage of the system it has been placed on. The graphics are crisp on the iPhone 4S’ retina display and I imagine they will look fantastic on the 3rd generation iPad upon an update.
MotoHeroz is out now in North America for just $0.99 with an HD iPad version available for $2.99.
