The hugely popular Batman game is to be followed up with a ”feature-heavy” Game of the Year Edition, to be released in the U.S. on May 29.
The full package will contain ALL the DLC previously released plus more DLC such as Harley Quinn‘s Revenge. The full package then offers the Catwoman Pack, Nightwing Bundle Pack, Robin Bundle Pack, Challenge Map Pack and Arkham City Skins Pack. Which equates to seven maps, three playable characters, and 12 extra skins for the game.
The new Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC itself will feature Batman and Robin fighting Quinn’s thugs in all new locations, which is also set to be available for separate purchase on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in the U.S. on May 29, and in Europe on May 30.
Batman is certainly a good game and I’d recommend anyone who hasn’t played it to pick up the Game of the Year edition when they can.
However, what do you guys think? Are Game of the year editions a good or a bad thing? They’re certainly good for those who are late buyers but I feel they cheat players who have paid possibly double the games price to get the extra DLC and so on.
