Dark Souls to use Games for Windows Live

Well, “Prepare to Die” might be the most accurate slogan to describe the current situation. Despite an incredible amount of disdain from the PC gaming community, it seems developers are still sticking to good ol’ Games for Window Live. This also means that while the game might be on Steam, it won’t be using their DRM, which happens to be more effective with both blocking piracy and making PC gamers happy.

But there is always a downside to every upside. The upside here being that the game has new extras in store for those who have waited to exact their frustrations on a keyboard rather than a controller. Either way, here’s a new trailer. Look for the game hitting shelves August 24.
