It looks like the fuss is over and finally the internet can just chill out and not complain about anything anymore. BioWare has just officially announced free DLC being called the Extended Cut for Mass Effect 3. This DLC is there to tie up those pesky loose ends everyone got so worked up over.
“Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes,” said EA. “Coming this summer, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will be available for download on the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system and PC for no extra charge.”
This DLC required the re-prioritization of BioWare’s post-launch effort according to executive producer Casey Hudson.
