Bioshock Infinite delayed until next February take two spotlight bioshock infinite

Some bad news came today in the form of a delay. Irrational Games’ highly anticipated FPS Bioshock Infinite will not be arriving on its previously scheduled release in October. Irrational Games’ creative director Ken Levine had this to say:

“When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing,” he said. “Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”

Levine further went on to say that we will not be seeing Bioshock Infinite at either E3 or GamesCom. He explained that the next time we see it, it will be more of the finished project they want put out.

Gamers can expect to finally get their hands on Bioshock Infinite this February 26, 2013.
