There are some games that just capture an audience. There are some games that follow an overused setting. And then, we have Company of Heroes. CoH is what I consider to be the front-runner for what we now know as the modern RTS. For a game that’s as old as it is, the graphics are still incredible, the storyline engaging, and the game-play something that had never been seen before. Did I mention it’s set in WWII? Relic knows how to do RTS games, and CoH was the first truly notable instance of this.
Alright, so I like the game — I’m sure that’s not why you came here. But I know what is! That’s right, folks. It’s getting a sequel. I’m excited. You should be too.
