The Dark Knight’s last adventure left quite an impression on us here at The Bit Fix, as evidenced by our review. But really, can you ever have too much of a good thing? At Nintendo‘s E3 press conference, it was announced that the Wii U would be receving a special, feature enhanced edition of the Caped Crusader’s latest adventure.
Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition will contain all previously released DLC, and introduce a new system entitled Battle Armored Tech (B.A.T.). This will allow players to build kinect energy during brawls and unleash it on unsuspecting foes, giving their punches extra oomph and increasing their tactical advantage. The Wii U Gamepad (tablet) will give players access to Batman’s Bat Computer, blurring the line between reality and gameplay. No longer will you need to stop to do upgrades or access equipment. Various items will use the gyroscope as well, allowing players for example to control batarangs.
With all these additions, Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition looks poised to be a huge hit when the Wii-U launches later this year. Trailer for the new additions below.
