Yes, there was an incredibly long list of games shown off at this year’s E3, but NBA Live 13 from EA was not one of them. Hell, we didn’t see it at the company’s press conference, so why is that? Well, according to EA Sports Executive Vice President Andrew Wilson in an interview with Joystiq, “We have some really cool and aggressive stuff we have planned for NBA Live, and we felt it deserved its own time.” In addition, Wilson says that they will try to make things differently, which is something EA will need to do if it’s to take down its main and only competitor, 2K Games’ NBA 2K series.
There is no release date for NBA Live 13 as of late, so stay tuned.
