Phantasy Star Online 2, SEGA’s new free to play MMO has been released in Japan, and by popular demand, or rather, swarms of english speakers asking about the english person on PSO2‘s Facebook page, SEGA America announced that the global release is, semi disappointingly, sometime in 2013. This has left a few people a little frustrated that they’ll have to wait, but then again, nothing’s stopping them connecting to the Japanese servers and learning a little bit of Japanese in the process. I can’t help but think, however, that SEGA have given themselves more time than is needed for the task of translating PSO2, and that judging by this video, the more dedicated fans could have it translated before SEGA America.
