Resident Evil 6 will have 4 hours of cutscenes Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6 will have quite the story to tell if reports from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is any indication. For those not in the know, the BBFC is the UK equivalent of the ESRB in the United States. In the its report they stated that Capcom‘s upcoming survival horror game will feature 4 hours and 15 minutes of cutscenes. They also described the game as having “strong violence and gore,” the BBFC gave RE 6 an ’18′. No big shocker on that part.

For comparison’s sake, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 4 both feature around one hour of cinematics a piece, but there is an important distinction to be made here. Resident Evil 6 will contain three separate and self-contained stories, with a fourth that somehow unlocks later on. One could surmise that would make up for the staggering lack of parody in those figures.
