The latest Minecraft snapshot from the guys at Minecraft Blog (snapshot “12w34a”) includes myriad new features for us to gawk at, but most notably, one to be terrified of. Once you install the snapshot you will notice many changes to maps and portals function as well as several new items to toy with.
The most interesting thing about this latest update is quite possibly the most interesting thing I have seen the guys at Mojang add in a while. The new Wither Boss is basically a three-headed floating skeleton with no legs that shoots exploding skulls from each of its three heads. Truly terrifying. The monster also has a ridiculous amount of health and does damage at an alarming rate.
The update also adds carrots and potatoes, but come one. Wither Boss.
