As reported by CVG, Half Life 3 has appeared on the official Gamescom list of releases(PDF file). This could mean that Valve are finally about to reveal the highly anticipated sequel to Half Life 2, which would be really really big news. Of course, Gamescom have put a disclaimer in place to place doubts on the validity of the PDF file, so this could be someone’s cruel joke or just a mistake. It could however, be real.

This wouldn’t be the first Half Life 3 news to surface though, as we reported earlier on some leaked concept art for Half Life 3 with a winter setting and a different looking Alyx.
