Our favorite sneaky raccoon is back, as the trailer for Sly Cooper:Thieves in Time was revealed by Sanzaru Games at Gamescom today. You watch the trailer here, on the US Playstation Blog.
In Thieves in Time, the Cooper family secrets have been cruelly stolen, and Sly embarks on a quest with his team to get them back. The game retains its joyful, cartoony style, a refreshing contrast to the brown-on-brown realism that dominates the gaming market of today.
In addition, the game promises a few features to tie it to the Vita, such as using the Vita as an X-ray device to find items in-game on the Playstation 3, as well as the ability to import game saves, similar to the Transfarring system used by Hideo Kojima for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
The game is also part of Sony‘s new Cross-Buy initiative, where if you buy the game on Playstation 3, you get a copy for your PS Vita as well; a good move in a market where game provdiers have the audacity to charge full price for downloadable games.
