Publishing giants EA today announced that their upcoming first person shooter title, Medal Of Honor: Warfighter, will have an open beta launching in “early October” exclusivly for the Xbox 360.
The beta seems to only offer one game mode, called Hotspot, which will make players attack and defend random spots on a map set in Bosnia on the Sarajevo Stadium map.
However there are other incentives for people to download the beta, EA have said that anyone who participates will get a free 60 minute double XP bonus when the game officially launches on October 26th. Moreover it was announced that if the beta hits 3 million downloads then EA will release the music video for Linken Parks upcoming “Castle Of Glass” and if it doesn’t hit the required mark then the video will release 5 days after the beta has finished.
Medal Of Honor: Warfighter is set for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 26th.
