Sony announced its “PSN Day 1 Digital” program today, offering full copies of some of the fall’s major releases through the PlayStation Network on launch day. Keen-eyed readers might recall that the digital releases of Mass Effect 3 and Borderlands 2 might now be considered as a small test of this larger program.
The PSN Day 1 Digital program for October covers Resident Evil 6 (Oct. 2), NBA 2K13 (Oct 2), Dishonored (Oct 9), DOOM 3: BFG Edition (Oct 16), 007: Legends (Oct. 16), Medal Of Honor: Warfighter (Oct. 23), Need For Speed: Most Wanted (Oct. 30) and Assassin’s Creed 3 (Oct. 30).
PlayStation Plus members also receive a 10% discount on NBA 2K13, Dishonored, Doom 3 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted with pre-order. Honestly, at this point if you don’t have PS+ you’re just doing PS3 wrong.
