League of legends should be a name familiar to everyone, the single most successful MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas) for PC and for the longest time it has had almost zero competition on the Consoles; until Warner Brothers Studios announced they were working on Guardians of Middle-Earth for consoles. This being one of the first MOBAs to come to consoles and with solid gameplay and a collected effort to show fans that they are keeping with the Middle-Earth lore; it will come as no surprise to anyone when this downloadable game succeeds on release day. So earlier today, Warner Brother Studios released a new video detailing the two new characters being added to their list of playable champions, Nori and Wulfrun.
Nori: a champion that can hold his own against the minions on the battlefield and any one vs. one skirmish, but where Nori really gets his strength is when he is near structures, friend or foe. When near an enemy formation, Nori gains bonus damage towards the structure and enemies nearby; however when Nori is near an allied structure he can reinforce the arrangement, giving it bonus health.
Wulfurn: a support champion that is strongest when he is assisting allies by giving them health back or boosting their specialized abilities. As well Wulfurn can knock back multiple enemies, giving him the opportunity to either rush in for a kill or to offer a quick escape.
Gurdians of Middle Earth is set to release in Autumn of 2012 for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
