The most recent version of the Humble Bundle, Humble Bundle 6, has raised over $2 million dollars for charity, Indie developers and the site itself.
Over 316,000 people bought the bundle, with Linux users raising the most money with an average of better than $10 each.
A whole host of high profile games were included this time out including the original Torchlight. The others were:
- Rochard
- Space Pirates And Zombies (S.P.A.Z)
- Vessel
- Torchlight
- Dustforce
- Bit.Trip Runner
- Gracious Space Battles
- Jamestown
- Wizorb
The biggest buyer was Markus Persson, Notch, who parted with $10,000.
Humble Bundle works by allowing the user to choose how much they wish to pay for the games and how they wish to split their money, between charity, Humble Bundle themselves and the developers. However you must pay over the average to get all of the games and over $1 to get a Steam key.
