Capcom‘s latest entry in the long running horror franchise, Resident Evil, has shipped over 4.5 million copies to date the company has confirmed. Although it is important to note that this figure is not the number of games in customers hands but simply the number that have been/ are on store shelves.
This does mean however that this has broken the record for the most units shipped globally at launch for Capcom despite a critics not being overly impressed by the game.
