Activision Blizzard’s highly successful, MMORPG, World OF Warcraft has seen it’s subscription numbers jump to over 10 million again, due in no small part to the recent release of expansion pack Mists Of Pandaria. The expansion itself has sold over 2.7 million copies in it’s first week of release.
Released on Tuesday 25th September here in the UK the fourth expansion in the series has seen the level cap increased to 90 and introduced the ability to play as a Panda.
According to the publisher the first post-launch content update is in development and should be ready “in the weeks ahead”.
Back in August 2012 the company revealed that subscription numbers had dropped to below 9.1 million, in contrast the game reached record heights in October 2010 when 12 million people were subscribed.
